Our Vision
AGAINST THE TIDE FILMS (ATTF) wants to have an inspirational and transformative and moving effect on the audience.
ATTF wants to challenge the Status Quo, to heal and ultimately awaken our conscience and communal awareness. Using an anthropological approach to capture human nature, and life, it creates an experience that is real, and shares a common human experience.
ATTF objective is to be part of the film industry to produce high quality non-fiction and fiction films that raise the level of public debate on human rights and environmental issues.
How we do it.
We Dream
It all begins with an idea. From current issues, to news and social trends, to heart-felt stories that are both character and/or issues-driven, we write stories that are fully researched and studied and audience-proofed.
We make documentaries that are informative, moving and most importantly entertaining.
We Shoot
Shooting with state of the art equipment 4-6K, we focus not just on skilfully crafting an engaging story-telling, but on a well crafted aesthetic and film quality to create an experience, which stays with you after the films ends, posing questions and inspiring positive action.
